Love You!

A few weeks back, when I was looking for a new job, I received a call from this one place that I had applied for (not the one I ended up working at now, btw). I wasn't able to pick up, so they left a message. When I was able to call them back, they didn't answer, and so I left a message for them this time. "...I'm returning your call...blah blah blah...interested in the job...blah blah blah..." And as a closer, I was just about to say "Love you!", but fortunately I caught it right in the nick of time and stopped myself from saying it.

Why would I say that!? Well, I'm not really a huge phone guy. Don't really like to talk on the phone much, I'd rather just meet up with people when given the chance. But the person I do talk to daily is my bf. And I usually end my calls or voicemails to him with a heartfelt "Love you!" I guess I was used to ending voicemails to him this way that it almost slipped out when I was leaving the voicemail for that job recruiter. Imagine if I hadn't caught myself in time and DID end up saying that in the voicemail!? I don't know what I would've done if I couldn't erase it. I think I'd be too embarrassed to have called them back. lol What would you have done? :)

F My Life

We all have days where things just don't go our way. Something crappy, embarrassing, awkward or just plain strange happens to us. Often we try to just forget about those moments and move on. But why forget, when you can save them forever over at fmylife.com!? :)

I don't know what percentage of the entries on that site are real, but it doesn't matter. Some of them are quite funny! I spent a good few minutes reading through a bunch of them. If anything, next time you have a bad moment, you can just look at some of those entries and say, "could've been worse!"

Superman Themeow

Ok, sorry in advance for posting this one. LOL But, for some reason, it makes me laugh! Not just that, it gets stuck in my head and I found myself suddenly "hearing it" in my mind at random moments after the first time I heard it. lol It's nothing but the Superman movie theme song...as sung by a cat.

Lost . . .

Don't you just hate it when you lose something and you can't find it, so it ends up driving you crazy looking for it and wondering where the hell you could've left it? Earlier today I put something into my pocket, nothing really important, and then when I reached in to get it later I had lost it. So I was going around the house retracing all my steps in the last hour when I'd last seen it, but to no avail. So it drove me crazy just wondering where the hell it was! And of course, as always, I'll end up finding it when I'm not even looking for it anymore in the most random place! Uggh.

Food Court Musical

A couple days ago I posted a video about a group of public pranksters who did some random musicals in a school library and a lecture hall. Well, today I ran across this other public musical prank, done by people over at the site by the website improveverywhere.com. This one was done here in L.A., if only I could've been there! Would've been a fun surprise. lol You should check out the rest of their site, they have done several other public pranks (or "social experiments" if you would) which are all pretty fun to watch.

Life: The Musical

So you're going about your day as usual, nothing out of the ordinary, same old routine. When all of a sudden you start to hear some music. Out of nowhere a random guy starts bursting into song, as if you're in the middle of a musical or a classic Disney animated movie. He starts to sing a song related to the location or event you're in. Now wouldn't that be cool? LOL

There's a website, www.prangstgrup.com, where they did pretty much just that. They film pranks (social experiments?) involving unsuspecting people. Take an ordinary setting (a library and a lecture hall) and then have someone burst into a song. People look on, half confused yet probably more amused than anything. And the lyrics and music aren't all that bad. LOL Sure would help brighten up my day, that's for sure. Still, after a while if there were too many songs I'm guessing it'd get annoying. :)
